CACIDE 101 is a water soluble quaternary ammonium based biocide which act as a powerful biocide in oilfield drilling

  APPLICATION  

CACIDE 101 is an oil field biocide and is used for inhibiting the growth of bacteria in aqueous system which comprises adding the biocide blend to an aqueous system containing bacteria.

CACIDE 101 can be used as a component in corrosion inhibitor, biocide formulations for application in oilfield, water treatment and other industrial applications.

 

  ADVANTAGES  

• CACIDE 101 is a bactericide for control of mixed bacteria in both aerobic and anaerobic (including sulfate reducers) in fresh water, sea water and low brines

 

  PHYSICAL PROPERTIES  

Physical appearance: Colorless to pale yellow liquid.

Specific gravity: 0.98- 1.02

pH: 6 - 8

Solubility: Soluble in water & alcohols

  RECOMMENDED TREATMENT  

Continuous treatment is recommended at 5 – 10 ppm for bacterial and corrosion production

  PACKING AND STORAGE  

CACIDE 101 is packaged 25 Kg and 55‐gal (208‐L) drums. Store in dry, well‐ventilated area. Keep container closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames. Store away from incompatibles
