  PRODUCT DESCRIPTION  

CMC LV is a low viscosity technical grade dispersible Carboxy Methyl Cellulose fluid loss additive designed to reduce API filtration rate with minimum increase in viscosity in water based drilling fluids

  APPLICATION  

It is a cost effective additive used as a fluid loss reducer in fresh water and brackish water systems. It is used to control fluid loss in dispersed and non dispersed drilling fluids

  PROPERTIES  

Appearance: Cream Coloured Free Flowing Powder Free From Extraneous Impurities

Sodium CMC Content % on Dry Basis: 55% Minimum

Degree of Substitution: 0.7 to 0.8

Moisture Content: 8% Maximum

pH in 1% Solution: 7 to 9

3% Soln Viscometer Dial Reading at 600 RPM: 90 Maximum

Solubility: Completely Soluble in Water at any Temperature

PERFORMANCE TEST

 4% SALT WATER MUD, API WATER LOSS: 10 ML MAX

  PACKING AND STORAGE  

CT-CMC LV is packed in 25 Kg Multiwall Paper Bags or HDPE Bags. Store in a dry location away from sources of heat or ignition, and minimize dust
