Biocide Triazine Based CACIDE-301

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

CACIDE 301 is a biodegradable triazine based product used as a bactericide in drilling, completion, or work over and packer fluids. It also can be used in air, mist, foam and gas drilling applications.

APPLICATION

It is utilized to control sulphate reducing bacteria which can produce harmful corrosion. CACIDE 301 will protect polymers, which are susceptible to bacterial degradation. CACIDE 301 may also be utilized to control bacteria in injection waters.

ADVANTAGES

Solubility – Soluble in water & alcohols.

RECOMMENDED TREATMENT
The normal initial treatment of CACIDE 301 for circulating fluids is 0.1–0.3% where an alkaline pH range is being maintained.

PACKING AND STORAGE

CACIDE 301 is packaged in 5-gal (18.9-L) cans and 55-gal (208-L) drums. Store in dry, well- ventilated area. Keep container closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames. Store away from incompatibles.
