Corrosion Inhibitor - Completion Brines CT-CI 500
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
CT CI500 is a modified brine‐soluble filming amine corrosion inhibitor for most water based systems. It’s also used as a bactericide and oxygen scavenger for solids free packer fluids. Its helps to prevent general corrosion attack on casing, tubing and down hole tools in contact with clear completion brines.
APPLICATION
CT CI500 is effective against corrosion by oxygen, carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulphide.
CT CI500 is non-foaming and performs well in calcium chloride, sodium chloride and potassium chloride brines.
CT CI500 is formulated to provide corrosion protection for non and low alloy steel as well as stainless steel.
ADV ANT AGES
CT CI500 is recommended as a specific all–purpose corrosion inhibitor for solids free packer fluids.
CT CI500 is provides protection at bottom hole temperatures up to 350°F (177°C).
PHYSICAL PROPERTIES
Physical appearance - Dark brown liquid.
