Corrosion Inhibitor Monovalent Brines CT-CI 400
Product Description:
CT CI400 corrosion inhibitor is a low toxicity Imidazoline based corrosion inhibitor that can reduce corrosion in freshwater and monovalent brines. In addition, CT CI400 corrosion inhibitor can be used to increase pH and treat carbonate contamination in water based systems.
Applications:
• CT CI400 treat carbonate contamination in water-based systems at bottom hole temperatures up to 350°F (175°C).
• CT CI400 remove small quantities of hydrogen sulfide gas from solution.
Note: CT CI400 corrosion inhibitor is not recommended for treating large influxes of hydrogen sulfide because the chemical reaction is reversible.
Advantages:
• It helps to provide extra protection against acid gases
• It can Increases pH.
