H2S Hydrogen Sulphide Scavenger - Non Triazine CT-SCAV AV

DESCRIPTION

CT SCAV-AV is an Alkanolamine based H2S Scavenger and their aqueous solutions when mixed

will absorb hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide from at very high temperatures from crude oil

streams and controls H2S level to low. CT SCAV-AV has much faster rate of reaction, better

environmental profile and more predictable reaction stoichiometry than other hydrogen sulphide

scavengers such as triazine scavangers and iron oxide products.

APPLICATION

• CT SCAV-AV is useful in selectively removing hydrogen sulfide from crude oil streams.

• CT SCAV-AV is also used in natural gas plants for the bulk removal of carbon dioxide while producing a gas stream containing hydrogen sulfide.

• CT SCAV-AV is used as urethane catalyst, textile softeners, pH control, and epoxy resin curing agents.

RECOMMENDED TREATMENT

The normal initial treatment for circulating fluids is 0.1 Ib /bbl (0.29 kg/m3).

PACKING AND STORAGE

CT SCAV-AV is packaged in 5-gal (18.9-L) cans and 55-gal (208-L) drums. Store in dry, well-

ventilated area. Keep container closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames. Store away from incompatibles.
