MSOL-A MUTUAL SOLVENT 

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

MSOL A is a mixture of organic chemicals used as a mutual solvent. It is an environmentally safe, high performance solvent system which is used to remove and solubilize deposits of organic material during well completion and stimulation operations.

APPLICATION

MSOL A routinely used in a range of applications, such as removing heavy hydrocarbon deposits, controlling the wet ability of contact surfaces before, during or after a chemical treatment, and preventing or breaking emulsions.

ADVANTAGES

Can be applied prior to completion, well stimulation and gravel packing operations. It has some non-emulsifying properties.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES

Physical appearance   - Colorless clear liquid.

Specific gravity   - 0.89 – 0.91

Flash Point (PMCC)  - Above 65°C

Solubility in water  - Soluble.

RECOMMENDED TREATMENT

MSOL A is advisable to conduct a laboratory investigation prior to apply.

PACKING AND STORAGE

MSOL A is packaged in 5‐gal (18.9‐L) cans and 55‐gal (208‐L) drums. Store in dry, well‐ventilated area. Keep container closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames. Store away from incompatibles.
