CT BRK 201 - ENCAPSULATED GEL BREAKER
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
CT BRK 201 is an encapsulated oxidizing gel breaker used in hydraulic fracturing applications. CT BRK 201 slowly releases ammonium persulfate into the fracturing fluid. This allows the break of the fracturing fluid to be delayed. Higher breaker concentrations can be added to the fracturing fluid without compromising fluid rheology. Since CT BRK 201 is a solid, breaker will not be lost to the formation during fluid leak-off. Combining the higher breaker concentrations and not losing breaker to the formation, improved fracture conductivity can be attained using CT BRK 201.
APPLICATIONS:
CT BRK 201 can be directly substituted into fluids using activated persulfate breakers for applications between 130 -200°F. (Actual Fluid Temperatures)
Break guar and derivatized guar based fracturing fluids such as Linear gel fluids, Borate or organo metallic cross linked fluids, Foams
Breaker will concentrate in fracture and break filter cakes from linear or borate cross linked fluid.
ADVANTAGES:
Increased break times can be obtained.
Higher concentrations can be used without compromising fluid viscosity during prop pantplacement.
Solid breaker which will concentrate in the proppant pad during fluid leak-off.
Increased conductivity of the created fractured by:
o Clean-up of proppant pack
o Breaking of filter cakes from linear or borate cross linked fluids.

PACKING & STORAGE:
CT BRK 201 is packed in 50-lb bags / drums. Store in dry, well-ventilated area. Keep container
closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames. Store away from incompatibles.
