CACIDE 201 BIOCIDE

Product Description:

CACIDE 201 is a highly effective potent blend of Glutaraldehyde bases which are effective in the on shore / off shore application. The ingredients in it are biodegradable, making the product useable in systems where treated water is to be discharged into the sea. In addition, it does not contribute to foaming, making it highly suitable for sterilization of drilling fluids. It is compatible with most scale inhibitors.

Applications:

CACIDE 201 is used for rapid and complete bacterial kill with decreased likelihood that the bacteria develop a tolerance for the chemical. It inhibits the growth of bacteria in aqueous system which comprises adding the biocide blend to an aqueous system containing bacteria.

Advantages:

CACIDE 201 is a highly effective micro biocide for control of both anaerobic and aerobic bacteria in fresh water, sea water or brines.

CACIDE 201 is low toxic to fish, animals and humans.

Recommended Treatment:

Normal initial treatment levels of CACIDE 201 for circulating fluids range from 0.1 to 0.3 % by volume in alkaline pH environment. Higher concentrations are required at neutral pH ranges. Daily maintenance of 10% of initial treatment is recommended for circulating fluids.

Packing and Storage:

CACIDE 201 is packaged 25 Kg and 55‐gal (208‐L) drums. Store in dry, well‐ventilated area. Keep container closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames. Store away from incompatibles
