Description

CT-DIATOMITE is a naturally occurring, soft, siliceous sedimentary rock that can be easily crumbled into a fine white to off-white powder. Used in various industries. It is wide used in Oil drilling as a Fluid loss reducer and a lost circulation aid due to its high absorbent characteristics.

It has the special features of lacunaris structure, small density, big specific surface area, strong absorbability, good suspension property, stable physical and chemical capabilities, sound & heat insulation, abrasion proof, acid-resistant, non-toxic and odorless, etc.

Physical Properties:

Appearance - White to Off white Powder

Silica as SiO2 - > 75%

Alumina as Al2O3 - 6 to 8%

Calcium CaO - 1 to 2%
Iron as Fe2O3 - 2 to 4%

Magnesium as MgO - 0.1 to 4%

Loss of Ignition - 5 to 8%
