PRODUCT DESCRIPTION  

CAPAC-R is a high viscosity grade, high molecular weight polyanionic cellulosic polymer that is used to provide filtration control in water‐based drilling fluids. CAPAC-R can be used in all fresh and salt water drilling fluids including KCl and Salt water drilling fluid systems. It does not require a preservative

  APPLICATION  

CAPAC-R additive controls fluid loss in freshwater, seawater, KCl and saltwater drilling fluid systems. It forms a thin, resilient, low permeability filter cake which minimizes the potential for differential sticking and invasion of filtrate and mud solids into permeable formations.

  ADVANTAGES  ​

• It is readily dispersible in all water-based muds.

• It provides viscosity and controls fluid loss.

• It can be used to produce ultra-low solid drilling muds for better rate of drilling.

• It can improve hole cleaning and core recovery.

• It is non-fermenting.

  PACKING AND STORAGE  

Material is packed in 25 Kg Multiwall Paper Bags or HDPE Bags. Store in a dry location away from sources of heat or ignition, and minimize dust
