SCAV-O H2S Scavenger

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

SCAV O (hydrogen sulfide scavenger) is an oil soluble H2S Scavenger designed for brine-base fluid systems to remove H2S.

APPLICATION

SCAV O removal of H2S in various applications and not limited to zero flaring/flowback, crude oil road transportation, drilling mud, refining and petrochemical plants, crude oil shipments and disposal wells.

ADVANTAGES

SCAV O is provides a cost effective way to remove H2S from processed gas streams. It can reduce safety hazard associated with high H2S concentration in a wide range of operation. SCAV O can reduce operating costs associated with high H2S concentration.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES

Physical appearance   - Clear liquid.

Specific gravity   - 0.88 – 0.92

Flash Point  - >200°F.

Solubility  – Insoluble in water.

RECOMMENDED TREATMENT

The normal initial treatment for circulating fluids is 0.1 Ib /bbl (0.29 kg/m3).

PACKING AND STORAGE

SCAV O is packaged in 5‐gal (18.9‐L) cans and 55‐gal (208‐L) drums. Store in dry, well‐ventilated area. Keep container closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames. Store away from incompatibles.
