CT-PPD Pour Point Depressant

Product Description:

CT-PPD is a polymeric Pour Point Depressant in an aromatic solvent carrier. When properly added to an oil producing system (before wax crystallization takes place), it can lower pour points significantly, and control paraffin deposition from the point of injection throughout downstream facilities.

Applications:

CT-PPD has been designed primarily for squeeze operations, as well as continuous injection in refinery and pipeline applications. Recommended inhibitor concentration must be maintained in a flowing system for effective paraffin control.

Advantage:

• Used as fluidity Improver in lubricant to meet stringent low temperature viscosity requirements.

Physical Properties:

Physical appearance ​- Clear liquid.

Specific gravity ​- 0.80 – 0.85

Flash Point (PMCC) ​- Above 100°C

Solubility​​ - Oil Soluble & water insoluble.

Packing and Storage:

CT PPD is packaged in 5‐gal (18.9‐L) cans and 55‐gal (208‐L) drums. Store in dry, well‐ventilated area. Keep container closed. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames. Store away from incompatibles.
