Core / Diamond Drilling Polymer CT-MUD 313
DESCRIPTION
CT MUD 313 is a co polymer, a high molecular weight polymer designed for core recovery. It is an environment friendly borehole stabilizer and a viscosifier very effective in diamond core drilling. It is a water-soluble high molecular weight polymer, primarily used as a highly efficient fluid loss reducer, viscosifier and protective colloid for shale and cutting in most of the drilling applications, however, the best results are acquired in diamond core drilling. It is compatible with most of the drilling fluid products, biopolymers etc. CT MUD 313 gives very good results in loose formations.
APPLICATIONS
• It can be used as an alternative polymer drilling fluid in core drilling
• It stabilizes water sensitive formations
• It functions as an inhibitor by coating or encapsulating formation & cuttings.
• Very small dosage can provide clear solid free viscous borehole stabilization
• It also restricts the interaction of water hydratable & dispersible shale
• It also provides inhibition properties to fresh water, sea water and also in presence of calcium ions
USAGE
CT MUD 313 shall be added in water with continuous stirring to form viscous fluid at
typical concentrations of 0.25-2 lb/bbl (0.7-5.9 kg/m3).
