CT-SWC Salt Water Clay / Attapulgite Clay

DESCRIPTION

CT-SWC coats the sides of the holes, which prevents leaks and cave ins. It helps in continous drilling without having to bail out the cuttings from the bottom of the well. It cleans the bits and carries cuttings (pieces of soil and rock back to the surface). It meets API 13A specifications.

APPLICATIONS

It can be used to build viscosity in drilling fluids having a high salt concentration. It is used to increase the viscosity and suspension properties

Viscometer dial reading at 600 rpm - 30 Max

Loss on Ignition(pre-dried,2h,1.000o C) - 6-8 %

Residue greater than 75 micrometers - 8% Max

Material is packed in 25 Kg or 1 Mt HDPE Jumbo Bags.
