PRODUCT DESCRIPTION  

CT-WET Wetting Agent is a powerful oil wetting agent used to oil wet drill solids in oil-based drilling fluids. Reduced flow properties are commonly seen after small applications of this product. It is a naturally occurring product that can be used in all oil base fluids and is suitable up to 350°F (176°C).

  APPLICATION  

CT-WET is used as a oil-wetting of solids in oil-based muds and helps increase the resistance of oil-based muds to water contamination.

Which helps to reduce inter-particle forces when formulating very high-density oil-based fluids.

  ADVANTAGES  

It improve flow properties.

It helps coat the surfaces of shale and other solids

It acts as a secondary emulsifier

  RECOMMENDED TREATMENT  

Normal treatment range of CT-WET is to add 0.25 - 2.0 lb/bbl (0.71 - 5.71 kg/m) directly into the system.

  PACKING AND STORAGE  

CT-WET is packed in 5 Gal carboys or 55 gal drums. Store in a dry well-ventilated area.

  CROSS REFERENCE  

CT-WET is equivalent to NOVAWET (M-I) and DRILTREAT (Baroid)
